Chris Wilson, founder of Tigerfight and whose son, Ryan, is a recent cancer survivor himself, approached the 115-year-old candy company in October 2012 with an idea to create a new taffy chew flavor. The result was one of the sweetest fundraising endeavors ever! They named the new taffy “Tiger Chews” and a portion of each Tiger Chew purchase supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and their mission to help blood cancer patients live longer, fuller lives. And, because September is Blood Cancer Awareness month, Dewar’s Candy Shop doubles its donation throughout the month.
